Maritime Archaeological Sea Trust

Maritime Archaeology Sea Trust (MAST)
Last year MAST received a £2 million grant for the rescue excavation, recovery, conservation and public display of material from the wreck of HMS Invincible (1744). Our partners are Bournemouth University, National Museum of the Royal Navy and Dan Pascoe of Pascoe Archaeological Services.

Following their first season’s excavations MAST, alongside Bournemouth University, is beginning the task of conservation and recording of the artefacts.

MAST have invited BGH to assist them in their conservation work in Poole, working on some of the incredible artefacts that they have recovered.

BGH are proud supporters of MAST and the incredible work that they are doing recovering and recording our maritime heritage and if you would like more information on this project click here
